Contraindications: Do not take VITAMIN B12 injectable or drinkable solution in the following cases: - allergy to vitamin B12 or similar substances (cobalamines). - malignant tumour. IF IN DOUBT IT IS ADVISABLE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Special warnings and side effects: Be careful when taking VITAMIN B12 injectable or drinkable solution: - this medication can only be taken when the body has a vitamin B12 deficiency. - during treatment blood tests will need to be carried out. - in case of megaloblastic anaemia, blood potassium (serum potassium) should be carefully monitored during the first two days of treatment.

Interaction with other drugs: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding: This can be taken during pregnancy as well as during breast feeding.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Dosage: Follow the advice given from your doctor. · Intramuscular injection for the treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency: *Attack treatment: one vial per day or 3 per week(10 per week) *Maintenance treatment: one vial for injection per month. · Orally in the treatment of anaemia due to insufficient dietary intake of vitamin B12 in strict vegans: pour the contents of the ampoule into a glass of water. *Attack treatment: 1 vial per day for 15 days-1 month. *Maintenance treatment: 1 vial every 10 days.

How to use: Orally or intramuscular injection.

Side effects: Like all drugs VITAMINE B12 GERDA 1000ug/4ml solution can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone): -Allergic reactions: itching, eczema, urticaria, redness, oedema, fainting. Stop treatment and immediately consult your doctor. - Acne - Pain when injecting the solution - Red colour in your urine. If you notice side effects that are not mentioned here, or if certain side effects become more severe, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
