Description
In adults and children 6 years of age and over: Cetirizine is indicated for the treatment of the nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Cetirizine is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Medical advice is recommended for chronic idiopathic urticaria. Please note, according to French law, the maximum quantity per order of this non-prescription medication is 1 box. The Moncoinsante.com pharmacist will have to cancel your order if these maximum quantities are not respected.
Using advice
Adults and adolescents over 12 years old:
10 mg once a day or 1 tablet.
Children from 6 to 12 years old:
The use of this medication is not recommended in children under 6 years of age because this form does not allow dosage adjustment in this age group.
5 mg twice a day, or half a tablet twice a day.
Moderate to severe renal impairment:
In patients with moderate to severe renal impairment, the dose will be reduced to 5 mg once daily and 5 mg once every other day, respectively.
The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and your symptoms and is determined by your doctor.
Ingredients
One film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. Excipient: one film-coated tablet contains 80.00 mg of lactose monohydrate. List of excipients: Core: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. Film-coating: OPADRY BLANC (lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose (E464), macrogol 4000).
