Description
Fiprokil 2.5 mg is used in the treatment of infestations by fleas, ticks and chewing lice.
Directions for use
Manual spray gun for external use only. The gun sprays 0.5 ml per spray.
To moisten the coat down to the skin, apply 3 to 6 ml per kg body weight (i.e. 7.5 to 15 mg fipronil per kg body weight), depending on the length of the hair. This dosage can be achieved by applying 12 sprays per kg body weight. Depending on the length of the hair: The 100 ml presentation allows to treat 4 to 8 times a cat of 4 kg or up to 3 times a dog of 10 kg.
Method of administration
Adjust the nozzle. Turn the safety ring to "open". Spray the product all over the animal's coat from a distance of about 10-20 cm. Apply in the opposite direction to the direction of hair growth, making sure that the entire coat is moistened. Massage the coat, especially in long-haired animals, so that the product penetrates to the skin. For treatment of the area around the head, or to treat young or nervous animals, application can be made by first spraying the product onto a glove and then rubbing the glove into the coat. Allow to air dry. Do not use a towel to dry the animal.
Properties
The formula contains a covering agent among the excipients. The spray therefore creates a film which is deposited on the coat and makes it shiny.
