Product Indication Cetavlon cream is a mild antiseptic. It is recommended as an adjuvant treatment for skin infections and skin conditions at risk of infection. Directions for Use For topical use. DosageApply to the infected area once or twice a day. – Ensure that skin is cleansed with soap and rinsed thoroughly prior to use. – Apply Cetavlon cream to dry skin. – Do not press the tube opening against the skin. This medicine is sold for your personal use only, to treat a specific medical complaint. – Do not use it for any purpose other than as an antiseptic. – Do not recommend it to anyone else. Ingredients Active Ingredient (per 100 g): Cetrimide: 0.500 g Other Ingredients: Alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, methylparaben, propylparaben, essential oil of lavender, purified water Packaging This medicine is an antiseptic cream packaged in a tube (weight: 80 g). Precautions for Use – Open tubes create a risk of microbial contamination. Keep tube sealed when not in use. – If you are epileptic, consult your doctor prior to use. – If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Contra-indications Do NOT: – apply to the eyes or inner ear (in case of torn eardrum); – apply to mucus membranes, particularly those in the genital area; – use if you are allergic to any of this cream's ingredients, particularly derivatives of quaternary ammonium compounds or parabens; or – give to children with a history of febrile or non-febrile seizure due to the presence of terpene derivative excipients.
