Avoid eating, washing and exercising for 30 minutes before measuring your BP. 2. Sit down 5 minutes before. Relax. 3. Do not measure while standing up. Sit comfortably and keep your arm level with your heart. 4. Avoid moving or speaking while measuring. 5. While measuring, avoid strong electromagnetic interference caused by appliances such as mobile phones and microwave ovens. 6. Wait at least 3 minutes before re-measuring. 7. For consistent results, measure at the same time each day. 8. Measurements are comparable only if taken at the same time each day, using the same arm in the same position. 9. This product is not recommended for those with severe cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).
