Description
The Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device is very easy to use, and allows you to draw blood from your fingertip quickly and painlessly, in a single gesture. Its push button allows you to cock the lancet and then prick your finger directly. Thanks to a guidance system, this device ensures ideal stitching comfort by avoiding bias stitching which would cause skin lesions. Thus, the needle penetrates perfectly into the pulp of the finger and comes out on the same axis, in order to avoid skin lesions. You can adjust the puncture depth yourself according to your skin type and hardness. Simply select the chosen value from 11 depths, using a wheel located at the level of the launcher.
Very practical, the Fastclix Accu-Chek lancing device contains a cartridge of 6 lancets. During handling, it is impossible to prick yourself, this maximizes the risk of accidental stings. The Fastclix allows in 1 click to arm and trigger the lancet.
Usage tips
Position a "cartridge" of lancets in the Accu-chek FASTCLIX lancing device After setting the depth (from 1 for the shallowest, thinner skin to 5 for the deepest, thick skin), position the lancing device on the sides of the fingers, preferably on the ring finger and little finger, then press the small white button. A drop of blood should appear, sufficient for the blood glucose strip previously installed in the meter. When the number 1 appears, you are at the last lancet. Once used, remove the cap from the Accu-chek FASTCLIX lancing device and dispose of the cartridge in the trash. No risk of contamination or accidental sting. Then put a new "cartridge" of Accu chek FASTCLIX lancets
Tips and tricks
Why preferably the ring finger or the little finger: these are the fingers that are used the least, they are not part of the gripping fingers. Why bite on the side: the sensitivity is less, but we know that the sensitivity decreases in the long term, especially in a diabetic. The Fastclix lancing device is used with Accu-chek Fastclix lancets.
