OneTouch Verio strips are available in boxes of 100 strips. For use with OneTouch Verio meters These strips are used for self-monitoring of blood glucose levels.
Usage tips
1. Introduce a reactive strip 2. Make the drop of blood appear using a lancing device and its lancet (needle) at the end of the finger (preferably the last 2 fingers of the ring finger and little finger) 3. Apply blood sample 4. Accurate results in 5 seconds Box of 2 bottles of 50 ONE TOUCH VERIO test strips. Refer to the user manual for more details on using the meter and test strips.
Storage and handling
* Store the test strip vial in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of direct sunlight and heat. Do not refrigerate. * Store test strips only in their original vial. Do not transfer them to another vial or container. * After removing a OneTouch Verio test strip from the vial, immediately replace the cap on the vial and close tightly. *Use each test strip immediately after removing it from the vial. * Write the discard date on the vial label when the vial is first opened. Discard unused OneTouch Verio test strips six months after opening the vial. * Avoid soiling the reactive area (upper part) in any way. * Do not use test strips beyond the expiration date printed on the package as you may get incorrect results. * Under no circumstances should a OneTouch Verio test strip be bent, cut or altered. * Blood glucose testing materials should be handled and disposed of in accordance with universally accepted blood product precautions. All materials and samples from patients and with which they come into contact must be considered biologically hazardous and, therefore, handled as products that can be a source of infection. When disposing of all such materials, take appropriate precautions in accordance with local regulations.
