Therapeutic indications:

- Erythema secondary to radiotherapy treatments. First and second degree burns and any other uninfected skin wounds.

Contraindications:

Never use TROLAMINE BIOGARAN 0.67%, emulsion for skin application in the following cases: Known allergy to one of the components of the preparation. Haemorrhagic wound (with bleeding). Infected lesion. IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ASK FOR THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR YOUR PHARMACIST.

Special warnings:

In the event of a burn with blistering or extensive burn, or in the event of a deep or extensive wound, medical consultation is essential before applying any medication to the lesion. IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ASK FOR THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR YOUR PHARMACIST.

Precautions for use:

This medication is not a sun protector. This medication should not be used as a care cream on healthy skin. IN CASE OF DOUBT, DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK FOR THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR YOUR PHARMACIST.

Drugs interactions:

If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast feeding:

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Dosage:

Dermal. · Erythema secondary to radiotherapy treatments: follow your doctor's recommendations. In general, 2 to 3 daily applications, regularly spaced, making penetrate by a light massage. Second degree burns and other skin wounds: consultation with your doctor is necessary. After cleansing the wound, apply a thick layer, largely overflowing the surface of the lesion and renew the applications in order to always maintain an excess of emulsion on the lesion. Cover if necessary with a moistened compress and finish the dressing. Do not use a dry absorbent dressing. First degree burns: in case of extensive burn, consultation with your doctor is essential. Apply in a thick layer until the skin refuses. Penetrate with a light massage. Repeat 2 to 4 times a day.

Possible side effects:

Like all medicines, TROLAMINE BIOGARAN 0.67%, emulsion for skin application can have side effects, although not everybody is subject to them. Moderate and transient (15 to 30 minutes) pain (tingling) which may occur after application. · Rare contact allergy. Very rare case of contact eczema requiring immediate discontinuation of treatment. If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, or if any side effects get serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition:

The active substance is: Trolamine ............................................ .................................................. .......................................... 0.670 g Per 100 g of emulsion for skin application.

The other ingredients are: Ethylene glycol stearate, stearic acid, cetyl palmitate, solid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, perhydorsqualene, avocado oil, propylene glycol, sodium trolamine alginate, potassium sorbate, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), Campania flavor, purified water.
