Therapeutic Indications: This medication is to treat digestive discomfort and a dry mouth (insufficient saliva secretion). Contraindications: Do not take SULFARLEM 12.5 mg coated tablet in the following cases: - if you allergic (hypersensitive) to wheat due to the wheat starch content. - for a child under 6 years of age, IF IN DOUBT IT IS ADVISABLE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Cautions: This drug is not recommended for patients with a galactose intolerance, a Lapp lactose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption (rare hereditary illnesses). This medication is not recommended for patients with a fructose intolerance, glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary illness). This drug contains a yellow-orange S dye agent (E110) and can cause allergic reactions. This medication can be taken to treat coeliac disorder. The wheat starch could contain traces of gluten but is not seen as dangerous for those suffering from a coeliac disorder. Inform your doctor if you suffer from gallbladder. Interaction with other drugs: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding: This medication is not recommended during pregnancy. If you discover that you’re pregnant during the treatment, consult your doctor who is the only person who can judge whether the drug should be continued. This medication is not recommended during breast-feeding. During pregnancy and breast feeding it is always recommended to consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any type of drug. Dosage: Take the tablets 30 minutes before a meal. Adults: 1-2 tablets, 3 times per day. Children: · 10-15 years old: 3 tablets per day. · 6-10 years old: 2 tablets per day. How to use: Orally.
