Product Description Created by Ipsen Pharma, Forlax can be used in the symptomatic treatment of constipation in children aged between 6 months and 8 years. This medicine is a soluble powder. Dissolve in a glass of water and give to drink. Forlax generally takes effect 24 to 48 hours after ingestion. Medicinal constipation relief should be supplemented by positive changes in diet and lifestyle. A combination of diet and lifestyle modification is necessary to maintain healthy digestion. Do NOT over-use with children. Before you give this medicine to your child for the first time, verify that their constipation does not have any natural causes. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice. How to Use Method of Administration Dissolve contents of sachet in at least 50 ml of water and give to your child to drink immediately. If your child requires only 1 sachet per day for constipation relief, give them Forlax in the morning. If more than 1 sachet is necessary, give it to them in the morning and evening. For children over 1 year, the daily amount should be adjusted to achieve the desired effect. Dosage Dependent on child's age. Between 6 and 12 months: 1 sachet per day. Between 1 and 4 years: 1 or 2 sachets per day. Between 4 and 8 years: 2 to 4 sachets per day.
