Therapeutic Indications: This medication is treatment for a vitamin B6 deficiency for adults (with a doctor’s permission). Contraindications: Do not take BECILAN 250mg scored tablet: · if you are allergic to one of its components. · if combined with levodopa. Precautions for use: This medication should not be taken for a long period of time. Due to the pyridoxine content, combined with levodopa, which can reduce the effect of L-dopa, you need to take precaution when taking this drug. Interaction with other drugs: This medication should not be combined with levodopa. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding: It is not recommended to use this drug during pregnancy. If you discover that you’re pregnant during the treatment, consult your doctor who is the only person who can judge whether the drug should be continued. Avoid taking this medication while breast-feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Dosage: ONLY TO BE TAKEN BY ADULTS. 1-4 tablets per day. Symptoms and instructions in case of overdose: If you have taken more BECILAN 250mg than advised: Neurological disorders such as drowsiness and/or paresthesia have been reported at strong doses and/or during prolonged intake of pyridoxine hydrochloride. These disorders are reversible once treatment is stopped. Treatment is symptomatic. Side effects: Like all drugs BECILAN 250 mg scored tablets can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone). Neurological disorders such as drowsiness and/or paresthesia have been reported at strong doses and/or during prolonged intake. If you notice side effects that are not mentioned here, or if certain side effects become more severe, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
