Therapeutic Indications This drug contains calcium. It is for: - Lack of calcium during pregnancy, breast-feeding and periods of growth, - In supportive treatment of bone decalcifications in the elderly, or after menopause, corticosteroids, prolonged immobilization after resumption of mobility. Contraindications Do not take OSSOPAN 600mg coated tablet in the following cases: · if you are allergic to one of its components. · if you suffer from severe kidney failure · hypercalcemia (abnormally high level of calcium in the blood) · hypercalciuria (high level of calcium in the urine) · kidney stones · prolonged immobilization accompanied by hypercalcaemia and / or hypercalciuria: calcium should be administered only at the resumption of mobility, · children younger than 6 years due to pharmaceutical form. For children over 6 years of age: 4-6 tablets per day depending on doctor’s advice. How to use Orally. Swallow tablets with a glass of water. Side effects Like all drugs OSSOPAN 600mg tablets can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone): - risk of an increase in calcium levels in the blood and urine. - abdominal pain, constipation, nausea. - itching, urticaria, skin outbreak.
