Description:

The drug Bevitine ampoule injection contains thiamine hydrochloride, vitamin B1. This drug is indicated in adults for the treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency, when oral intake is not possible.

The drug contains thiamine hydrochloride, vitamin B1.

One 2-mL ampoule of Bevitine contains 104 mg of thiamine hydrochloride, an amount corresponding to 100 mg of anhydrous thiamine hydrochloride.

Other components are: thiomalic acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium hydrogenphosphate dodecahydrate, water PPI.

DOSAGE FOR BEVITINE 100MG/2ML INJECTABLE SOLUTION:

It is prescribed exclusively for adults, with a usual dosage equivalent to 1 to 2 ampoules of 100 mg per day, by intramuscular and slow intravenous routes over 10 minutes. Higher doses may be prescribed by your physician.

If the dosage exceeds 2 ampoules per day, the dose should be spread over 24 hours.

CONCRETE-INDICATIONS OF BEVITINE 100 MG/2ML INJECTABLE SOLUTION:

Administration of this medication is prohibited in case of allergy to any of the constituents. On the other hand, report to your doctor any treatments you are undergoing at the same time as the prescription of Bevitine, to avoid any drug interaction.

Finally, taking this medication is strongly discouraged during pregnancy as well as breastfeeding. A medical opinion is, in any case, unavoidable.
