FANOLYTE is a dietetic preparation for oral solution of rehydration. FANOLYTE should be used in case of acute diarrhea or gastroenteritis. FANOLYTE is used to make an oral rehydration solution to compensate for the loss of water and electrolytes secondary to diarrhea as it persists. FANOLYTE does not contain milk or milk proteins. Caution: FANOLYTE does not feed the child, so it should never be used alone for more than 12 hours.
