Description

Urgo Urgostrips 10 sterile adhesive sutures are sterile strips that allow rapid closure of superficial wounds and surgical incisions.

Must be applied by an adult for those under 16 years old.

1- Clean and disinfect the wound and its surrounding area with an antiseptic solution.

Dry with a sterile compress to facilitate adhesion of the strips.

2- Open the bag sterilely. If the strips need to be cut, use sterile or alcohol-disinfected scissors.

3- After washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water, apply two strips parallel to the wound, on either side of the wound.

4- Be careful not to place your fingers on the place of the strip which will be in contact with the wound. Apply a third strip perpendicular to one edge of the wound and, under light traction, apply it on the opposite edge to ensure that the edges of the wound come together, without overlapping.

5- Apply the following strips in the same way until the wound is completely closed. Complete the assembly by placing 2 transverse strips to strengthen the whole.

Leave the strips for 3 to 4 days. Replace the strips according to the directions for use until complete healing.

The wound should remain dry.
