Therapeutic Indications: This medication contains vitamin C. It is for temporary periods of tiredness for adults and children over 15 years. Contraindications: Do not take LAROSCORBINE SUGAR FREE 1g soluble tablet: · If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient or one of its components contained in LAROSCORBINE SUGAR FREE 1g soluble tablet. · kidney stones. · if you suffer from phenylketonuria (a hereditary disease discovered at birth) due to the aspartame content. IF IN DOUBT IT IS ADVISABLE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Cautions: · due to the light stimulent effect it is recommended to not take vitamin C at the end of the day. · this medication contains 312 mg of sodium per tablet. Patients should take into account their sodium intake. High doses of (more than 2g/day) ascorbic acid can interfere with biological test: the dose of creatinin and glucose in the blood and urine (diabetes test). Do not mix with other drugs so as not to exceed the recommended dose. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding: Pregnancy: This drug can only be used during pregnancy following advice from your doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Breast feeding: Avoid taking vitamin C whilst breast-feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Dosage: Suitable for adults and children over the age of 15 years old. Length of treatment:: Duration is capped at 1 day. Symptoms and instructions in case of overdose: In case of an overdose or accidental poisoning, inform your doctor immediately. Side effects: Like all drugs LAROSCORBINE SUGAR FREE 1g soluble tablets can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone). Strong doses over 1g/day, possibility of: - digestive troubles (heartburn, diarrhoea), - urine problems (red colouration and difficulty in urinating), - haemolysis (destruction of red globules) for patients with a glucose deficiency (lack of red globules).
