Siberian Fir essential oil has a very characteristic woody smell. Originally from Siberia, it is the most widespread species of fir in Russia. Large very hardy tree, it can reach 20 to 35 meters in height. Its trunk measures up to 1 meter in diameter. It develops around 2000 meters above sea level, on permanently frozen land. It lives up to 200 years.

Properties of Siberian fir essential oil
Respiratory antiseptic Anti-bronchitis, anti-asthma Sweating And also It contains properties comparable to those of cortisone which can be extremely invigorating. And diving into a bath with the smell of a pine forest is happiness you cannot miss out on!
Main indications
All respiratory infections: bronchitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, cough How to use: Respiratory infection: : Inhale : * Prevention: diffuse in an ambient setting, at home or at work, especially in epidemics (colds, flu, all types of respiratory infections). * Cure: dry inhalation (some drops on a tissue) or wet (some drops in a bowl of boiling water) Apply: : * Rub onto the chest, top of the back, solar plexus and neck (5 drops of diluted pine oil in 5 drops of vegetable oil; preferably macadamia or sweet almond oil).
Tiredness-Depression : Apply some pure drops along the spine (towards the lower back at the kidney level) and under the arch of the foot and solar plexus. Repeat this morning and at lunchtime until you feel better. + Put 1 drop on the inside of each wrist and inhale deeply. Note : These are the only exceptions when you can apply the pine oil in its pure state onto the skin provided that it is a one-off time. If you repeat this treatment it is advisable to mix your essential oil scent with 1 drop of vegetable oil.
Other uses
It is one of the most pleasant oils after sport when your muscles are all achy. Take a 20-minute hot bath (at least 37°C) just before going to bed with a 20% base of Siberian fir oil in the bath (4 drops of pine for 20 drops of a base or milk).
Contraindication
Like all essential oils the Siberian fir oil is not allowed during the first 3 months of pregnancy as well as during breast feeding. Not suitable for children under 7 years of age.
