Fresh and spicy, the smell of rosemary camphor essential oil is fine. Camphor rosemary can measure up to 2 meters high and is one of the famous "herbes de Provence". This shrub is one of the most cultivated aromatic plants in France, and thrives in scrubland and maquis.

Main usage 

Anti-rheumatic Reduces muscle pain Facilitates periods Helps digestion, looking after the liver in its detoxification role And also Venous decongestant Diuretic Mental Action Tonic at a weak dose Relaxing and calming with stronger doses (avoid any overdose as this essential oil contains neurotoxic ketones).

Main indications 

All type of muscular pain: contractions, aches, cramps, rheumatisms Late periods, pain, feeling weak Slow digestion, burping, all types of digestion problems (especially “stressed liver”).

How to use

Periods and Digestion : Massage the stomach with the mixture as follows: 3 drops of rosemary + 4 drops of hazelnut vegetable oil (apply more towards the top of the stomach for digestion problems).

Muscles : Massage the painful area with the mixture as follows: 6 drops of rosemary + 8 drops of St John’s Wort vegetable oil.

Muscle contractions, before exercise: Massage: 2 drops of rosemary camphor EO + 2 drops of Gaultheria EO in 5 ml of sweet almond vegetable oil. Gentle massage.

Heavy legs and circulation problems: Massage the affected areas with the mixture as follows: 10 drops of rosemary in a tablespoon of arnica vegetable oil.

Other uses: Apply onto the callus’ and corns; walking becomes more comfortable.

Contraindication

This essential oil is not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women, children under 7 years old and individuals with epilepsy.
