Globe eucalyptus essential oil has a fresh, camphor-like smell. Originally from Australia and Tasmania, the globose eucalyptus is used to clean up marshy areas. It is now found abundantly in Morocco, Spain, Portugal, China and Uruguay.

Eucalyptus Globulus or “the fever tree” is a tree that reaches approximately 30 metres, Australian origin. Like all Eucalyptus’, its bark is deciduous: it comes away in large strips. Its cream coloured flowers are sources of nectar.
Properties
This essential oil is both expectorant, mucolytic and antiseptic. It is recommended in bronchopulmonary infections since it promotes bronchodilation. It is also recommended for colds, flu or sinusitis, and is also effective on urinary tract infections.

How to use
Diffusion- Respiratory and cleansing decongestant: 20 drops of eucalyptus globulus EO + 10 drops of Sylvester marjoram EO + 30 drops of mountain pine.
Massage- Bronchitis: 20 drops of eucalyptus globulus EO +10 drops of thyme EO in 15ml of apricot kernel vegetable oil. Apply 30-40 drops of the mixture onto the throat or thorax 2-3 times per day for 3 days.
Oily cough: drink a thyme herbal tea by adding 1 drop of globular eucalyptus essential oil diluted in 1 teaspoon of thyme or rosemary honey.
Purifying cleansing care: 10 drops of globular eucalyptus essential oil mixed with 100 ml of liquid soap or shower gel will cleanse backs that are prone to acne or unsightly pimples.
Contraindication
Contains eucalyptol. Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 8 years of age.
