Botanical details
Originally from Australia, several species of the genus Eucalyptus grow in the warm regions of Europe. Their size easily exceeds 50 m. Eucalyptus globulus owes its name to the shape of the operculum which protects the flower bud.
Use
Diffusion +++, Bath +, Massage ++, Oral route +
Olfactory atmosphere: alone or in a mixture, by evaporation under gentle controlled heat
Atmospheric diffusion: mixed with other non-irritating essential oils, in a diffuser by nebulization Cutaneous route: in dilution, 5 to 15% (maximum 30%) in vegetable oil
Oral route: only on medical or pharmacy advice. In general 1 drop per day, preferably with a drop of Scots pine HE
Dry inhalation: 1 drop on a handkerchief
Wet inhalation: use contraindicated.
Practical advice
Bronchial obstructions: Dilute Eucalyptus globuleux HE in Macadamia vegetable oil, then apply to the chest 2 to 3 times a day, for 6 to 10 days. It can also be combined with Tea tree HE or Cypress HE. In case of persistent difficulty breathing, consult a doctor.
Sanitizing mixture: To sanitize the atmosphere in a patient's room, place a few drops of Globulous Eucalyptus HE and the same number of drops of Petitgrain Bigaradier HE in the diffuser. This will bring a softer note. Program the diffusion in the room for 5 to 10 min every hour or every 2 hours according to the wishes of the occupant.
Contraindication
Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 12 years old. Risk of irritation of mucous membranes and skin Contraindicated in case of asthma 1ml = approximately 20 drops
