Fresh, sweet orange essential oil is fruity and light. If the orange tree comes from Asia (the sweet orange is in German the "apple of China"), it is widespread in hot countries: around the Mediterranean, Maghreb, China, South Africa, Australia. The Washington Navel variety, born in Brazil in 1820, flooded the market; this country is the world's largest exporter of orange juice.

How to use
Troubles linked to stress : Bath: 5 drops of neutral base on a tablespoon or milk and pour into a hot bath. Swallow 3 drops of orange in a teaspoon of honey and leave to melt in the mouth, after meals. Using a diffuser, diffuse 4 drops of orange in the bedroom in the evening - or simply put a saucer with the oil on next to a heat source.

Skin : Face - Mix 1 drop of orange into your daily moisturising cream, morning and night. Body - Mix 50 drops of orange with 1cl of vegetable oil and massage onto the affected areas or the whole body.
Other use : Another excellent extra for dishes! 2-4 drops into a soup, salad or vinaigrette, risotto, sorbet, ice-cream, cake, fruit salad... It is the citrus scent without the inconvenience of the pieces of zest...
Contraindication
Like all scented essential oils, it can cause skin allergies. Always try on a small area of the skin. Always diluted. However it is a photo-sensitiser: never apply the oil before sun exposure! Like all essential oils the marjoram essential oil is not allowed during the first 3 months of pregnancy. It is also not to be used during breast feeding.
