Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil has a unique spicy, warm and sweet smell... Originally from Sri Lanka, the cinnamon tree is a large tree (up to 15 meters high) also grown in Madagascar.

Possible uses
Apply onto the skin: it is very aggressive for the skin, possible risk of skin irritation when used in its pure state. At a push it can be diluted with vegetable oil and put on a small area of skin but not suitable for children. It is to be used pure 5 times per day and only on verrucas, making sure the area around it is protected. Swallow: Yes ++ on the condition that it is mixed with honey or olive oil as it can burn mucous membranes in its pure state. Inhale: No. Yes as a diffusion with a humidifier with sweet orange oil.
Main properties
It is essentially antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial, with a very broad spectrum of action on microbes, even resistant to antibiotics. It is used against respiratory infections (bronchitis, colds, flu), urinary (cycytitis), or intestinal (gastroenteritis, turista). It is also a remarkable antispasmodic and antiparasitic.

How to use
Swallow 2 drop on a neutral tablet or in 1 teaspoon of olive oil or honey or even a sugar cube, and leave to melt in the mouth, 3 times per day. Apply 1 drop of cinnamon mixed with 10 drops of macadamia vegetable oil and massage onto the stomach (if digestive infection) or the lower stomach (if cystitis).
Urinary tract infection (adult): 1 drop of Ceylon cinnamon essential oil + 1 drop of lemon essence + 6 drops of sweet almond vegetable oil, on a neutral tablet. To be taken during meals, 3 times a day, for 7 days.
Diarrhea (12 years and over): mix 2 drops of Ceylon cinnamon essential oil with 10 drops of Calophylle vegetable oil and massage the abdomen after meals for 48 hours. Add 2 drops of essential oil of Ceylon cinnamon on a neutral tablet, a sugar or in 1 spoonful of honey.
Physical or mental fatigue (15 years and over): 1 drop of Ceylon cinnamon essential oil + 1 drop of ravintsara essential oil + 4 drops of sweet almond vegetable oil, on a neutral tablet or sugar, morning and noon, 2 weeks maximum.
Other very good uses Tiredness Apply 1 drop of cinnamon mixed with 10 drops of hazelnut vegetable oil and massage onto the back. Other use Cooking: 1-2 drops wonderfully flavours a fruit salad or a cake.
Contraindication
This essential oil can irritate the skin so never use it in its pure state (always dilute it in vegetable oil), in the bath or on children. Not recommended for children younger than 7 years old, and pregnant or breast feeding women.
