Properties of sweet orange essential oil
It is calming and sedative, rebalances the nervous system and chases away anxiety, agitation and palpitations. It is also a good digestive tonic, it is anti-nausea, stomachic and carminative. Purifying the air, it also calms wasp or bee stings and fights against slackening of the skin.
Use
Diffusion +++, Bath +, Massage ++, Oral use +++
Olfactory atmosphere: alone or in a mixture, by evaporation under gentle controlled heat
Atmospheric diffusion: alone or mixed in a diffuser by nebulization
Oral route: diluted in a little edible oil or pure on a sugar. Usually 1 drop twice a day
Dry inhalation: 1 to 2 drops on a handkerchief
Wet inhalation: use contraindicated.
Recommended uses
Anxiety: take, 3 times a day for 5 days, 1 drop of sweet orange blossom essence on a neutral tablet or in a spoonful of honey.
Relaxation: pour 10 drops of sweet orange essential oil into the bath water mixed with a neutral bath base or a tablespoon of skimmed milk.
Insect bite: place a drop of sweet orange essential oil directly on the bite (do not expose yourself to the sun afterwards).
Cooking and digestion: 3 to 5 drops of sweet orange essential oil in a dessert (fruit salad, cake, flan, compote) pleasantly perfumes and facilitates digestion.

Precautions for use
Caution with certain drug interactions. Do not expose yourself to the sun for 24 hours after use (the oil is photosensitizing). The essential oil is well tolerated but it is better, as a precaution, to dilute it before application to the skin. DO NOT USE in pregnant or breastfeeding women, in children under 7 years old, in people allergic to one of the components (limonene, linalool), asthmatics without the advice of an allergist, over a long period in the patient with renal failure.
