Indications: This medication is anti-septic for ophthalmic use. It treats superficial eye infections. Contraindications: This medication should not be used: if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the eye drop solution. IF IN DOUBT DO NOT HESITATE TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Special warnings: Do not inject, do not swallow. Stop treatment and consult your doctor if you have an allergic reaction. Wait 15 minutes in between different eye drop treatments. Do not use several anti-septic eye drops simultaneously. Treatment should not be more than 7 days. If no improvement after 7 days or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor. Precautions for use: Use this medication with precaution: - the uni dose should be thrown away immediately after use and not stored - do not touch the eye with the nozzle - do not use this solution with contact lenses IF IN DOUBT DO NOT HESITATE TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Taking other medication: In order to avoid possible interactions between several medicines, you should always report to your doctor or pharmacist any other treatment in progress, in particular the other eye drops used, and in particular those containing fluorescein, pilocarpine nitrate, or Other antiseptics (silver salts, boric acid, salicylates). Pregnancy and breast feeding: During pregnancy and breast feeding it is always recommended to consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any type of drug. Dosage and how to use: Eye use. 1 drop, 3-4 times per day. Put 1 drop in the eye by pulling gently down on the lower eyelid and looking up. Follow these steps: Wash hands well. Tear at the notch, the protective pouch containing the uni doses. Detach one of the uni doses. Open the uni dose by taking it at each end and rotating it. Reverse the uni dose and lower it over the eye. Look up. Press gently on the uni dose. Do not touch the eye with the nozzle. Throw away the uni dose. Use a new uni dose per application. Frequency and Length of Treatment: 3-4 times per day. 7 days on average. Do not prolong treatment after 7 days. Side effects: LIKE ALL DRUGS THIS DRUG CAN CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE: temporary irritation, risk of an allergic reaction. If abnormal symptoms appear (redness and/or pain in the eyes), stop treatment and consult your doctor. Composition: Active ingredient: Cetylpyridinium chloride: 0.10 mg Per uni dose of 0.4 ml. Other ingredients: sodium hydrogenophosphate dodecahydrate, potassium hydrogenophosphate, purified water.
