Indications: Wearing Epitact Night Splint helps relieve thumb joint pain and reduces the risk of rhizarthrosis. Functions: The Epitact Splint keeps the thumb in the rest position by opening the corner between the index finger and the thumb. The alignment of the bones will limit the forces exerted on the trapezo-metacarpal articulation and relieve the pain. Special features: The rigid splint becomes suppler once put in hot water. As soon as you put it on it fits the shape of your hand by naturally putting your thumb into the rest position. It hardens and becomes rigid after a few minutes: it is splint that fits to you. Ergonomics: Very comfortable, light and thin, you do not even notice it whilst you are sleeping. Durability: If you look after it as instructed it should last a few months.
