Description

This medicine is indicated for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which causes heartburn, acid reflux and heartburn.

Dosage and administration

medicine must be taken orally. Knead the sachet well before opening. 1 sachet 3 times a day after the 3 main meals and possibly in the evening at bedtime.

This dosage may be doubled in cases of severe reflux or oesophageal inflammation.

- The other ingredients are : Calcium carbonate, carbomer 974P, sodium saccharin, peppermint essential oil, sodium hydroxide, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), purified water.

Precautions for use

This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate and may cause allergic reactions (which may be delayed). Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have been asked to follow a low sodium diet, particularly if you suffer from heart failure. This medicine contains sodium. This medicine contains 6 mmol (or 138 mg) of sodium per sachet, equivalent to 7% of the WHO recommended maximum daily dietary intake of 2 g of sodium per adult. To be taken into account in patients on a strict low-salt diet. This medicine contains calcium. Each sachet contains 160 mg calcium carbonate. Precautions should be taken in patients suffering or who have suffered from severe kidney disease.
