Description
Belloc Gastric Reflux is a single-use medical device designed to relieve and soothe gastro-oesophageal reflux. Instructions for use
Open the packaging of the stick by following the cut line and pour the contents directly into the mouth, without water or other liquid. Take 1 stick after meals and 1 in the evening before bedtime. Another dose may be taken before bedtime or during the day on the doctor's advice.
Do not use Belloc Gastric Reflux sticks or tablets for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Composition
Magnesium alginate 500 mg; Mucosave® plus HC (Opuntia ficus indica L., Olea Europaea L., maltodextrin) 120 mg; calcium carbonate 160 mg; potassium bicarbonate 80 mg. Excipients: Purified water; white peach flavour; propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium salt; methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium salt; CARBOPOL® 974P NF; sucralose; potassium hydroxide.
Precautions for use
Do not use Belloc Gastric Reflux in the event of known hypersensitivity to its components, perforation and/or gastrointestinal obstruction. Do not administer this medical device to children under 12 years of age, unless directed by a doctor. Belloc Gastric Reflux is contraindicated in cases of constipation or chronic diarrhoea, kidney disease or chronic heart failure. If you are taking medication, are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before taking the product. Do not exceed the suggested dosage, as higher amounts may cause temporary constipation or diarrhoea. There are no contraindications to combining Belloc Gastric Reflux with pharmacological products such as omeprazole, cimetidine or cisapride; however, it is advisable to seek the advice of a doctor before starting to take Belloc Gastric Reflux.
