Syrup - Heartburn, Acid Reflux - Maalox - 250 ml

Description 

Maalox Mint Drinkable Suspension is a syrup indicated for adults (aged 15 and over) to relieve heartburn and acid reflux.

Directions for use

Method of administration Oral use. Recommended dosage FOR ADULTS (aged 15 and over). 1 tablespoon of syrup at the time of heartburn or acid reflux, not to exceed 6 tablespoons per day. Duration of treatment Use is limited to 10 days.

Precautions for use

If the intensity and/or frequency of symptoms persist without improvement or worsen after 10 days of treatment, do not increase the dose but consult your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Contraindications

Never take MAALOX MAUX D'ESTOMAC, oral suspension in bottle if you have any of the following conditions - a history of allergy to any of the components of the oral suspension, - severe kidney disease.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

This medicine should only be used during pregnancy on the advice of your doctor. This medicine may be used during breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Easier to carry, try Maalox mint flavour chewable tablet

Composition 

The active ingredients are per 100 ml: Magnesium hydroxide: 4.00 g Aluminium hydroxide: 3.50 g The other ingredients are: Concentrated hydrochloric acid, citric acid monohydrate, peppermint essential oil, D-mannitol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, 70% sorbitol (non-crystallisable), purified water.
