Indication This drug is for stomach and oesophagus pains, burning or heartburn. How to take this drug Tablets must be sucked or chewed. This medication must be taken when pain hits without exceeding 6 doses per day. Dosage 1-2 tablets at times of pain. Frequency of dose Not applicable. Composition Active ingredients: Aluminium (hydroxide gel): Quantity of aluminium (hydroxide): 400.00 mg Magnesium (hydroxide gel): Quantity of magnesium (hydroxide): 400.00 mg Per tablet. Other ingredients: Mannitol, sorbitol, saccharine sodium, amylace pulverised saccharose, mint flavouring, magnesium stearate, saccharose for direct compression. Format Tablet to suck or chew, box of 40. Precautions for use If you follow a diet restricted to carbohydrate, sugar-free diet or diabetic diet take into account the intake of sugars (10 mg mannitol, 125 mg sorbitol and about 250 mg sucrose) per tablet. Look at the aluminium content if you are on chronic renal dialysis or prolonged treatment. Special warnings: If symptoms do not disappear after 7 days, consult your doctor. If pains are linked with fever and vomiting, consult your doctor immediately. Due to the saccharose and sorbitol content in this medication it is not suitable for those with a fructose intolerance, glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency.
