Indication This drug is for stomach and oesophagus pains, burning or heartburn. How to take this drug Orally.
Crush the sachet before opening.
The contents of the sachet must be swallowed directly in the mouth.
Dosage 1 sachet when pain hits without exceeding 6 sachets per day.
Composition of the drug Active Ingredient: Aluminium oxide hydrate: 8.0800 g Quantity of aluminium oxide: 1.2120 g Per single-dose sachet.
Other ingredients: polyvidone, saccharose, hydroxyethylcellulose, potassium sorbate, soda methyl parahydroxybenzoate, soda propyl parahydroxybenzoate, flavouring, purified water.
Format This medication is in the form a drinkable solution, box of 24 single-dose sachets.
Precautions for use The antacids can decrease the effect of several other drugs. You must tell your doctor or pharmacist of any other treatment. For precaution purposes it is not recommended to take other medication at the same time as the antacid. Any other medication should be taken at a different time (for example 2 hours before). If you are on a limited carbohydrate diet, sugar-free diet or diabetic diet, consider the intake of sucrose (1.90 g per sachet-dose). IF IN DOUBT DO NOT HESITATE TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Contraindications Do not take ROCGEL 1.2g drinkable solution: · If you are allergic (very sensitive) to the aluminium oxide or one of its components contained in Rocgel. - in case of severe kidney disease. Interactions with other drugs Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding This drug should be used with precaution during pregnancy and breast feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Side effects Like all drugs ROCGEL 1.2g drinkable solution can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone). Not for prolonged use as this can decrease the level of phosphor in your blood. If you notice side effects that are not mentioned here, or if certain side effects become more severe, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Instructions in case of overdose Excessive dosage can lead to constipation and even bowel obstruction. The effects of an overdose are more worrying for patients with kidney impairments. If you have taken more ROCGEL 1.2g drinkable solution than needed, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Storage conditions No specific storage precautions.
