Description of Emoflon rectal ointment
Emoflon rectal ointment is a new medical device for topical use.
It is recommended to relieve symptoms related to hemorrhoidal disease and its complications such as eczema or eczema or anal fissure.
Emoflon combines a set of emollient agents with soothing and healing properties.
The ointment is applied around the anus or in the rectum using an applicator adaptable to the ointment tube and supplied with the Emoflon tube.
The laboratory claims the following properties for this formulation:
- soothe inflamed and itchy skin,
- promote skin regeneration,
- reduce dryness of the skin.
Directions for use of rectal ointment Emoflon
The recommended dosage is 1 to 2 applications per day, around the anus or in the rectum.
For rectal application, a small amount of ointment, about the size of a pea, is recommended.
Treatment can be extended for up to 4 weeks without interruption. However, in the absence of improvement in symptoms after 1 to 2 weeks, medical consultation is recommended.
The application is carried out using the applicator provided in the packaging, with the ointment tube. This device must be properly screwed onto the tube, then removed after each use to allow the ointment tube to be closed, and washed.
The applicator can only be used by one person.
It is recommended to wash your hands before and after using the ointment.
Ingredients
Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (plant origin), white petrolatum, white beeswax, purified water, caprilyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel leaf extract.
Precautions for use
EMOFLON ointment should not be used:
- in case of bleeding,
- in case of allergy to lanolin (or another constituent).Simultaneous use of a rectal ointment and a condom may reduce the effectiveness of the condom. As such, EMOFLON contains petroleum jelly which can degrade the latex in the condom.
