Description 

Treatment of vaginal dryness of various kinds. Adjuvant treatment of repair processes in atrophic and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa. Promotes healing in the post-partum period, in gynecological surgery and in cases of dystrophy resulting from chemotherapy and ionizing radiation.

Vaginal dryness is a condition that frequently occurs during the menopause and post-menopause, although insufficient vaginal lubrication can occur at any age. The main cause of vaginal dryness is a decrease in estrogen levels (female hormones), which help keep vaginal tissue lubricated and elastic. When estrogen levels fall, the mvaginal walls become thinner, less elastic and more fragile (vaginal atrophy). The most common symptoms of vaginal atrophy include dryness, pain during intercourse, vaginal irritation and burning.

Directions for use

Wash hands before and after each use of this medical device.

1- Detach an egg from the plastic strip along the pre-cut lines.

2- Remove the egg from the blister pack by pulling the two tabs.

3- Hold the egg with your fingers.

4- Lie on your back and insert the egg deep into the vagina.

Adults : use one ovule a day, or as prescribed by your doctor, preferably in the evening before going to bed to avoid dripping.

Avoid holding the ovule between your fingers for too long, as it may melt. Duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms; if necessary, Cicatridine Plus vaginal ovules can be used for longer periods. In any case, after 30 days of continuous use, suspend treatment for one week.
