The usual dosage is 1 tablet of 400 mg per dose, to be renewed if necessary every 6 to 8 hours without exceeding 3 tablets of 400 mg per day (ie 1200 mg per day).
For painful periods, treatment should be started at the onset of periods and for a period of 1 to 3 days.
Migraine attack
1 tablet of 400 mg to be taken as soon as possible at the onset of the migraine attack.
Regular intake helps prevent pain or fever peaks. They should be spaced at least 6 hours.
Oral route.
Swallow the tablet without chewing it, with a full glass of water.
The tablets should preferably be taken with a meal.

Precautions for use
IBUPROFENE BIOGARAN may hide signs of infections such as fever and pain. It is therefore possible that IBUPROFENE BIOGARAN may delay the initiation of adequate treatment for the infection, which may increase the risk of complications. This has been observed with bacterial pneumonia and bacterial skin infections associated with chickenpox. If you take this medicine when you have an infection and your symptoms persist or worsen, see a doctor immediately.
Take special precautions with IBUPROFENE BIOGARAN:
At high doses, greater than 1200 mg / day, this drug has anti-inflammatory properties and can cause sometimes serious drawbacks which are those observed with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Pregnancy
Before the start of the 6th month of pregnancy (up to the 24th week of amenorrhea), you should not take this medicine unless clearly necessary as determined by your doctor, because of the potential risk of miscarriages or deformities. From the beginning of the 6th month until the end of pregnancy (beyond the 24th week of amenorrhea), this medication is contraindicated, you should under NO circumstances take this medication because its effects on your child can have serious or even fatal consequences, especially on the heart, lungs and / or kidneys, even with just one dose.

Feeding with milk
Since this medicine passes into breast milk, it is not recommended to use it during breast-feeding.
