Indication

Dosage

The drug AdvilCaps is taken orally. Swallow the soft capsule without chewing it with a full glass of water. The capsules are to be taken preferably during a meal.

Painful and / or febrile conditions: The usual dosage is 1 capsule at 400 mg per dose, to be repeated if necessary, without exceeding 3 capsules at 400 mg per day (ie 1200 mg per day). The 400 mg capsule is reserved for more intense pain or fever or not relieved by a 200 mg ibuprofen capsule. For older people at increased risk of side effects, use the lowest possible dose for the shortest time needed to relieve symptoms. The maximum dosage is 3 capsules per day (1200 mg weekly). Systematic catches prevent oscillations of pain or fever. They should be spaced at least 6 hours.
