Description
It is recommended as a local adjunctive treatment for affections of the oral cavity and during post-operative care in odonto-stomatology.
How to take this medicine
Local use in mouthwash. The solution must be diluted before use. Do not swallow.
Dosage
10 to 15 ml of solution 2 times a day (to be diluted in the measuring cup by completing up to the upper line with lukewarm water): perform the mouthwash until the measuring cup is used up. If necessary, this dosage can be increased to 3 times a day, knowing that the maximum dose is 20 ml (to be diluted), 3 times a day. Brush your teeth before each use and rinse your mouth thoroughly with water before using ELUDRIL 0.5 ml/0.5 g per 100 ml, mouthwash solution. For the single-dose bottle, dilute the contents of the bottle in half a glass of water and perform the mouthwash.
Precautions for use
Special warnings Do not put the product in contact with the eyes and nose. Do not introduce the product into the ear canal. In case of persistence of symptoms beyond 5 days and/or associated fever, the action to be taken must be reassessed. Prolonged use may expose teeth, fillings and dentures to staining. This medicine contains an azo coloring agent (E124) and may cause allergic reactions.
Contraindications
The use of ELUDRIL 0.5 ml / 0.5 g per 100 ml, mouthwash solution is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity (allergy) to chlorhexidine, chlorobutanol or other constituents of the solution.
Interactions with other drugs
The simultaneous or successive use of other antiseptics should be avoided given the possible interference (antagonism, inactivation, etc.). If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, do not hesitate to seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, ELUDRIL 0.5 ml / 0.5 g per 100 ml, solution for mouthwash is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them. Risk of sensitization to one of the components of the solution. If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, or if any side effects get serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Alcohol content: 42.8% v/v. The other ingredients are: Glycerol, 96 percent ethanol, sodium docusate, levomenthol, alcoholic solution of mint essential oil, purified water, cochineal red A (E124).
