Indication

Voltaren Actigo gel 1% is indicated as a short-term local treatment in adults (from 15 years of age), in case of benign traumatology (sprains, bruises).

How to take VoltarenActigo

Method of administration Local use. Massage the gel gently into the painful or inflammatory area for a long time. Wash hands thoroughly after each use. Dosage 1 application, 3 times a day. Duration of treatment The duration of treatment is limited to 4 days.

Composition of the medicine

Active substance (per 100 g of gel): Diethylamine diclofenac: 1.16 g Quantity corresponding to diclofenac sodium: 1.00 g Other components : Diethylamine, Carbomer 974P, cetomacrogol 1000, caprylic and capric acid ester with fatty alcohol from C12 to C18, isopropyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, cream fragrance 45, propylene glycol, purified water.

Packaging

This medicine is presented as a gel. Box of 1 tube of 60 g.

Precautions for use

Voltaren actigo should not be used under an occlusive bandage.

Contraindications

Never use Voltarenactigo 1 percent gel in the following cases: - from the 25th week of amenorrhea (beginning of the 6th month of pregnancy). - in case of allergy to this medicine or to a related medicine, in particular other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin; - in case of allergy to one of the excipients; - on injured skin, whatever the lesion: oozing lesions, eczema, infected lesions, burns or wounds

Pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy Up to the 24th week of amenorrhea (5 months of pregnancy), your doctor may prescribe this medicine on an occasional basis if necessary. From the 25th week of amenorrhoea (beginning of the 6th month of pregnancy), you must NEVER take this medicine YOURSELF, as its effects on your child may have serious consequences, particularly in terms of cardio-pulmonary and renal health, even with a single dose. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Breastfeeding This medicine passes into breast milk. As a precautionary measure, it should not be used during breastfeeding.
