Therapeutic Indications This medication is treatment for muscle and tendon-ligament pain for adults. It is in the form of a cream, 55g tube. Contraindications This medication should not be taken in the following cases: - allergy to salicylic (NSAIDs, aspirin) or one of the other ingredients. - do not apply onto mucous membranes, eyes, cuts, seeping wound, infected wound or under an occlusive dressing. If in doubt, it is advisable to consult your doctor or pharmacist. Special warnings This medication contains camphor and menthol which can lead to excessive doses of neurological convulsion-like symptoms among infants and children. Respect instructions of use · Never apply a higher dose than the dose recommended (see dosage), - Do not apply the gel on large areas of your body, -Comply with the doses and length of treatment. Precautions for use Suitable for adults only. in case of recent or previous epilepsy consult your doctor. After use it is recommended to wash your hands well to avoid contact of the product with the eyes and mucous membranes. IF IN DOUBT DO NOT HESITATE TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Pregnancy and breast feeding It is not recommended to use this medication during breast-feeding and should not be applied onto the breasts. During pregnancy and breast feeding it is always recommended to consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any type of drug. Dosage, how tot use and length of treatment Dosage: Only to be used by adults. Gently massage onto the sensitive area, 1 to several times per day. Wash hands after each application. Local use. Not to be used for a prolonged period of time without doctors permission. Side effects LIKE ALL DRUGS THIS DRUG CAN CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE: - local allergic reaction: stop treatment. - possible redness on the skin after application. - possible agitation and confusion among elderly patients if applied too much (due to the camphor and menthol content). Methyl salicylate: 12.50g Racemic camphor: 1.00g Dilutants: Sedefos 75 (ethylene distearate, gdiethylene glycol with phosphate of fatty alcohol), Labrafil M2130 (saturated polyglycosyle glycerides), liquid paraffin, racemic menthol, eucalyptus essential oil, purified water. Storage conditions Keep out of reach and view from children. Do not exceed the expiry date indicated on the outer packaging. Store in a place below 25°C.
