Indications
This medicine contains paracetamol. It is indicated in the event of pain and / or fever such as headaches, flu-like symptoms, dental pain, stiffness, painful periods. This presentation is reserved for adults and children weighing more than 50 kg (approximately 15 years). For children with a different weight, there are other presentations of paracetamol: ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Dosage
This presentation is reserved for adults and children from 50 kg (approximately from 15 years). The usual dosage is 1/2 to 1 tablet at 1000 mg per dose, to be renewed if necessary after a minimum of 4 hours. It is generally not necessary to exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day, or 3 tablets per day. However, in case of more intense pain, and on the advice of your doctor, the total dose may be increased up to 4 g per day, or 4 tablets per day. However:
· Doses greater than 3 g of paracetamol per day require medical advice.
NEVER TAKE MORE THAN 4 GRAMS OF PARACETAMOL PER DAY (taking into account all drugs containing paracetamol in their formula). Always respect an interval of at least 4 hours between the catches. In the event of severe kidney disease (severe renal failure), the catches should be 8 hours apart and the total dose should not exceed 3 tablets per day (3 g). Systematic catches prevent oscillations of pain or fever. If you have the impression that the effect of PARACETAMOL BMS 1 g, effervescent tablet is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral route. The tablets should be swallowed, if necessary after breaking them in half, as they are with a drink (eg water, milk, fruit juice).
Composition

The other ingredients are: Corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch (Type A), talc, magnesium stearate.
Precautions for use
If the pain persists for more than 5 days or the fever for more than 3 days, or in the event of insufficient efficacy or of any other sign, do not continue treatment without the advice of your doctor. In case of severe liver or kidney disease, it is necessary to consult your doctor before taking paracetamol.
Pregnancy and breast feeding
Paracetamol, under normal conditions of use, can be used during pregnancy as well as during breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
