Indication
This medicine contains paracetamol. It is indicated in the event of pain and / or fever such as headaches, flu-like symptoms, toothache, stiffness, painful periods. This presentation is reserved for adults and children weighing more than 30 kg (from 10 years old).
How to take this medicine

Dosage
The dosage of paracetamol depends on the weight of the child; ages are given for information. If you do not know the child's weight, it should be weighed to give the best dose. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol depends on the child's weight: it is approximately 60 mg / kg / day, to be divided into 4 doses, or approximately 15 mg / kg every 6 hours. The dosage is one suppository at 600 mg, to be renewed if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 suppositories per day.
Frequency of administration
Systematic catches make it possible to avoid oscillations of pain or fever. In children, they should be regularly spaced, including at night, preferably 6 hours, and at least 4 hours. In adults, they must be spaced at least 4 hours apart. In the event of serious kidney disease (severe renal failure), the catches should be spaced at least 8 hours apart.
Precautions for use
If the pain persists for more than 5 days or the fever for more than 3 days, or in the event of insufficient efficacy or the occurrence of any other sign, do not continue the treatment without the advice of your doctor. In case of severe liver or kidney disease, it is necessary to consult your doctor before taking paracetamol. Special warnings In case of overdose or mistakenly taking too high a dose, consult your doctor immediately. This medicine contains paracetamol. Other medicines contain it. Contraindications
Do not take DAFALGAN ADULTS 600 mg, suppository in the following cases: - known allergy to paracetamol or to other constituents, · severe liver disease, · recent anal or rectal inflammation or recent bleeding from the rectum.
Interactions with other drugs
· Report that you are taking this medicine if your doctor prescribes a test for the level of uric acid in the blood. If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy and breast feeding
Paracetamol, under normal conditions of use, can be used during pregnancy as well as during breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, DAFALGAN ADULTS 600 mg, suppository can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. In rare cases, a rash or redness of the skin or an allergic reaction may occur, which may be manifested by sudden swelling of the face and neck or by suddenly feeling unwell with a drop in blood pressure. You must stop treatment immediately, tell your doctor and never take medicines containing paracetamol again. Exceptionally, biological changes requiring a check of the blood test have been observed: abnormally low level of certain white blood cells or certain blood cells such as platelets which may result in nosebleeds or gums. In this case, consult a doctor. With the suppository form, there is a risk of rectal or anal irritation (see Warnings).
Instructions in case of overdose
