1. WHAT PRODINAN 160 mg, hard capsule IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Other drugs used in benign prostatic hyperplasia -
This medication is recommended for the treatment of certain urination disorders (urine output) linked to enlargement (increase in volume) of the prostate.
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE PRODINAN 160 mg, capsule?
Do not take PRODINAN 160 mg, capsule:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medication mentioned in section 6.
Warnings and precautions Take special care with PRODINAN 160 mg, capsule: Taking PRODINAN 160 mg, capsule on an empty stomach may cause nausea. The use of this medicine should not exempt your doctor from regular monitoring of the prostate.
PRODINAN cannot replace the surgical act when it is essential. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking PRODINAN 160 mg, capsule.
3. HOW TO TAKE PRODINAN 160 mg capsule?
Dosage
The usual dose is 2 capsules per day. Comply with the medical advice.

The maximum duration of treatment is limited to 6 months. Rare rashes and edema have been reported. Exceptionally, gynecomastia could be observed, reversible on discontinuation of treatment.
