Product Description Strepsils Strawberry Sugar-Free lozenges can be used as pain relief and a supplementary treatment for mouth and throat infections such as pharyngitis, and inflammation of the tonsils and mucus membrane of the mouth cavity (gum inflammation and aphthous stomatitis). Directions for Use Dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. DosageAdults and children over 6 years: Take 1 lozenge 3 to 6 times per day. Leave at least 1 hour between doses. Length of TreatmentDo not use for more than 5 days. Ingredients Per tablet: Active Ingredients: Amylmetacresol: 0.60 mg 2.4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol: 1.2 mg Other Ingredients: Strawberry flavour (052312B), tartaric acid, Cochineal Red A (E124), sodium saccharin, liquid maltilol, isomalt Packaging Round lozenges sealed in thermoformed blister-packs (aluminium/polyvinyl chloride/polyvinylidene chloride) and sold in packs of 24. Precautions for Use – Prolonged use of this product (for a period of more than 5 days) can alter the natural bacterial balance of the mouth and throat. – Contains amylmetacresol and 2.4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol. – Contains maltilol. Do not use if you are fructose-intolerant. Contra-indications Do NOT: – give to children under 6; or – use if you are allergic to any of this medicine's ingredients.
