Description
Apaisyl gel is an antihistamine (anti-allergic) for topical use. It belongs to the class of dermatological medicines. It is recommended in cases of itching, particularly insect bites.
Directions for use
Method of use
Apply to the skin. If symptoms persist after 5 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
Dosage
1 application 2 to 3 times a day.

Precautions for use
Itching is only a symptom and may have multiple causes. Consult your doctor in the event of persistent or worsening symptoms. Apaisylgel 0.75% is not a sunscreen. Apaisylgel 0.75% should not be used as a skin care cream on healthy skin.
Contraindications
Never use Apaisylgel 0.75% in the following cases: - a history of allergy to antihistamines, - infected or irritated skin lesions, - oozing skin lesions. - Do not use on children under 30 months of age.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy and breast-feeding. In general, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Composition
The active substance is (per 100 g of gel for topical application): isothipendyl hydrochloride: 0.750 g.
The other ingredients are : Edetic acid, sorbic acid, 70 per cent non-crystallisable sorbitol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
