Indication Dermofenac contains a corticosteroid. Dermofenac is for adults and children over 6 years old to treat: - nettle stings - insect bites - local sun burn. How to take this drug Dosage Apply the cream twice per day, morning and evening. Apply a thin layer of cream then gently massage it in until it has completely absorbed into the skin. Wash hands after use. Length of treatment Duration is capped at 3 days. Composition of the drug Active substance (per 100g): Hydro-cortisone. 0.50 g Other ingredients: Stearylic acid, cetylic alcohol, isopropylic acid, wool fat (lanolin), macrogol 1000 palmitostearate, macrogol 4000 palmitostearate, macrogol 6000 palmitostearate, purified water. Format This drug is in the form of a cream. 15 g tube. Precautions for use This medication contains a corticosteroid, follow the instructions. Applying more cream and/or increasing the number of applications will not improve the effectiveness of the product but could lead to side effects. - do not use on large areas. - do not cover with a closed dressing (occlusive) as the active ingredient could go into the blood. - do not apply other products on the treated area. - do not use more than twice per day. - do not exceed the recommended duration (3 days). If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult your doctor. In the case of: - local intolerance, - irritation, skin infection, Stop treatment and immediately consult your doctor: Contraindicationss YOU (OR YOUR CHILD) SHOULD NOT USE Dermofenac: - if you are allergic to hydro-cortisone or one of the other ingredients (due to the wool fat content). - on cuts. - on acne. - on rosacea. - on infected skin which is bacterial (impetigo), viral (herpes, shingles, varicose veins), mycosis (due to microscopic fungus or parasite origin. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Breast feeding: It is possible to breast feed your child during this treatment.
