Sédermyl Insect/Plant Bite/Sting Anti-Itching Cream – 35g Tube

Indication To relieve itching, particularly that caused by insect bites or stings and plant stings. Directions for Use For dermal application. Suitable for adults and children over 30 months. Dosage Apply 2 or 3 times a day. Do not use for more than 5 days. Length of Treatment If symptoms persist after 5 days of treatment, consult your doctor. Ingredients Active Ingredient (per 100g): Isothipendyl hydrochloride: 0.75 g Other Ingredients Edetate sodium, emulsifying cetostearyl alcohol (Type A) (Lanette N), decyl ester of oleic acid (Cetiol® V), cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, purified water Packaging This medicine is produced as a cream and packaged in a tube (weight: 35g). Precautions for Use – Do not apply to a large area of skin, broken skin, or babies (especially if premature), and do not cover with occlusive dressings – any one of these may cause the cream to penetrate the skin and pass into the bloodstream. – Do not apply to mucus membranes. – Contains cetyl and cetostearyl alcohols. May cause skin reactions such as eczema. – Contains propylene glycol (E1520). May cause skin irritation. Itching is a symptom of any number of illnesses and may have more than one cause. If your itch persists or worsens, consult your doctor. – If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Contra-indications Do NOT use: – if are allergic to antihistamines; – on irritated or infected skin; or – on weeping wounds.
