Product Description CortiSédermyl cream contains the corticosteroid hydrocortisone. Suitable for ages 6 and over.Can be used to treat: – nettle stings – insect bites and stings – mild sunburn Directions for Use For dermal application. Dosage Apply twice a day (morning and evening). Apply thinly, then massage gently into the skin until completely absorbed. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Length of Treatment Do not use for more than 3 days. Ingredients Active Ingredient (per 100 g): Hydrocortisone – 0.50 g Other Ingredients: Stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, lanolin (wool wax), macrogol 1000 stearate, macrogol 4000 stearate, macrogol 6000 stearate, cherry laurel distilled water Warnings and Precautions for Use – Use only as directed. Do not exceed the stated dose. – Excessive application will not increase the cream's effectiveness, but may cause undesirable side effects. – Do not apply to large areas of skin. – After cream is applied, do not cover with an occlusive dressing (this may cause some of the active ingredient to penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream). – Do not mix with other dermatological products. – Do not apply more than twice per day. – If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult your doctor. If you experience: – a localised allergic reaction; or – irritation or secondary skin infection: discontinue use and consult your doctor. Contra-indications Do NOT use: – if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any of this cream's other ingredients; – on cuts; – on acne; – on rosacea; or – on infected skin, whether the infection is bacterial (e.g. impetigo), viral (herpes, zona, chickenpox), fungal or parasitic. Pregnancy and Breast-FeedingIf you are pregnant: – If necessary, this medicine can safely be used during pregnancy. – Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using any form of medicine. If you are breast-feeding: – This medicine can be used briefly if you are breast-feeding. – Do not apply the cream to the breasts, since your baby may ingest it. – Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using any form of medicine.
