Pouxit Shampoo is indicated for the treatment of scalp lice and nits in adults and children aged over 6 months. It may be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. However, be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use. An insecticide-free formulation1 Pouxit Shampoo does not contain any substance with a neurotoxic mode of action on lice and nits; it acts by mechanical effect. Instead of insecticides, it uses natural coconut oil to block the respiratory and excretory orifices of lice and nits, causing them to die.
Directions for use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply the treatment shampoo to the scalp and dry hair, covering them completely.
- Massage into the hair until completely absorbed.
- Leave the product to work for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Separate hair into sections.
- Run the comb provided through damp hair from the roots to the ends.
- Clean the comb thoroughly after each use to avoid any risk of reinfestation.
- It is essential to repeat the treatment after 7 days.
Precautions for use
Read the instructions carefully before use. Do not apply to damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. For external use only. Do not inhale. Do not swallow.
