Therapeutic Indications: This medication is symptomatic treatment for vertigo. Contraindications: Do not use TANGANIL 500mg/5ml injectable solution in the following cases: - allergy to acetylleucine or one of the other ingredients. IF IN DOUBT IT IS ADVISABLE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE. Interaction with other drugs: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you take or have recently taken any other drug, including any non-prescription drugs. Pregnancy and breast feeding: It is not recommended to use this drug during pregnancy or breast feeding. If you discover that you’re pregnant during the treatment, consult your doctor who is the only person who can judge whether the drug should be continued. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any drugs. Dosage: Use for adults 2 vials per day (up to 4 if necessary) intravenously. Length of treatment depends on the clinical evolution. How to open the OPC (one point cut) vials Before opening the vial, make sure there is more solution in the upper part of the vial. The vials are provided with a OPC system and have to be broken following the instructions below: 1. With one hand hold firmly the body of the vial, the coloured dot facing you 2. With the other, grasp the upper part of the vial (index finger behind the neck of the vial and the thumb on the coloured dot. 3. Holding each part of the vial firmly, break the upper part of the vial by exerting pressure in the opposite direction to the coloured spot. Side effects: Like all drugs TANGANIL 500mg/5ml injectable solution can cause side effects (this will not affect everyone). Skin reactions (spots, redness, urticaria and itching) have been reported.
