Vitascorbol 500mg is indicated for temporary states of fatigue in adults (from 15 years old).
How to take this medicine
Method of administration Oral. Chewable tablet. Dosage RESERVED FOR ADULTS (from 15 years old). The tablets are chewable. 1 to 2 tablets per day. Processing will be limited to 10 days.
Composition of the drug
The active substance is (per 100 g of cream): Ascorbic acid 200 mg, sodium ascorbate 337.5 mg, i.e. total quantity corresponding to vitamin C 500 mg for a 1.8 g tablet. The other ingredients are: Sorbitol, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, lemon flavor*, aspartame, orange yellow aluminum lake S. *Composition of lemon flavor: essential oils and fractionation products essential oils of lemon and orange, citral, gum arabic, colloidal silica.

Precautions for use
Special warnings Linked to the presence of orange yellow S (E110): possibility of allergic reactions, including asthma, particularly in patients allergic to aspirin. Precautions for use If problems persist beyond 10 days of treatment, the situation must be reassessed. Due to a slightly stimulating effect, it is advisable not to take vitamin C at the end of the day. Consumed in high doses (more than 2 g/day), ascorbic acid can interfere with the following biological tests: creatinine and glucose, blood and urine measurements (diabetes control using glucose oxidase strips). /p>
Contraindications
· Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the tablet, in particular orange yellow S (E110), · Oxalo-calcic renal lithiasis for doses greater than 1 g/day. · Phenylketonuria (due to the presence of aspartame). · Fructose intolerance (due to the presence of sorbitol). This medication is generally not recommended in combination with KAYEXALATE (due to the presence of sorbitol)
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
· Pregnancy: The use of vitamin C should only be considered during pregnancy if necessary. . Breastfeeding: In the absence of data on the passage of vitamin C into breast milk, the use of vitamin C should be avoided during breastfeeding.
