Product Indication To treat short term fatigue. Suitable for ages 15 and over. Directions for Use To be taken orally. For adult use only (15 years and over). DosageTake 1 or 2 tablets per day. Do not use for more than 10 days. Ingredients Active Ingredients (per 1.8g tablet): Ascorbic acid: 200 mgSodium ascorbate: 337.5 mg= 500 mg of vitamin C Other Ingredients: Sorbitol, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, lemon flavour*, aspartame, Sunset Yellow FCF (E110) *Composition: essential oils and essential oil derivatives of lemon and orange, citral, gum arabic, colloidal silica Packaging This pack is comprised of 2 tubes containing 12 tablets each. Warnings and Precautions for Use Warnings– Sunset Yellow FCF (E110) may trigger allergic reactions (including asthma attacks), particularly in those who are allergic to aspirin. Precautions for Use– If symptoms persist after 10 days, consult your doctor so that your treatment can be re-assessed. – This medicine is a mild stimulant. Therefore, evening use is not recommended. – If taken in heavy doses (of more than 2g per day), ascorbic acid can interfere with glucose and creatinine level testing of blood and urine (e.g. by diabetics using a glucose-oxidase strip). Contra-indications Do NOT use if: – you are allergic to any of this medicine's ingredients; – you have kidney stones (do NOT take more than 1g of vitamin C per day); – you have phenylketonuria (due to the presence of aspartame); or – you are fructose-intolerant (due to the presence of sorbitol). Due to the presence of sorbitol, use of this medicine in conjunction with kayexalate (polystyrene sulfonate) is not advised. Pregnancy and Breast-FeedingIf you are pregnant: – Use this medicine only if necessary. If you are breast-feeding: In the absence of specific data concerning this medicine's ability to pass naturally into breast milk, do NOT use this medicine.
