Fenticonazole Bailleul 2% Cream - 30 g Tube

Indications

FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream contains an active substance called fenticonazole nitrate and is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over for the treatment of fungal diseases of the skin or mucous membranes.

FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream is used in case of fungal infections of the skin or mucous membranes, in particular in cases of candidiasis, dermatophytosis and Tinea versicolor.

Using advice

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.

Before using this cream, you must thoroughly clean and dry the affected area of ​​skin or mucous membrane. Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream should be applied to the affected area of ​​skin or mucosa in a thin layer and lightly massaging, once or twice a day.

Unless your hands need to be treated, wash them thoroughly after applying the medicine to prevent the fungal disease from spreading to other parts of your body, or even to other people. Please do not use any leftover medication for self-medication if this skin disease recurs or if you have other skin problems.

Change towels and clothing that have come in contact with infected skin every day. This will prevent re-infection. Always dry yourself thoroughly after washing or bathing, especially in hard-to-reach areas of the body, such as the spaces between the toes.

Composition

The active substance is:

For 100 g of cream.

The other ingredients are:

Propylene glycol, hydrogenated lanolin, virgin almond oil, polyglycolic fatty acid ester, cetyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, disodium edetate, purified water.

Precautions for use

Never use FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream:

- if you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medication mentioned in section 6. In the event of an allergic reaction, treatment with FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream should be stopped.

- in infants and children under 12 years old.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

FENTICONAZOLE BAILLEUL 2%, cream should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
