Ankle circumference of 18 to 25 cm Class I medical device.
Usage tips
Measurements: ankle circumference. URGO K2 can be left in place on the leg for up to 7 days. At the start of treatment, it must be renewed as many times as the level of exudate requires, or when the circumference of the ankle changes (oedema).
Before applying the strips
Examine the shape of the leg to identify any areas at risk of excess pressure (bony protrusions) and protect them with cotton wool if necessary. In the event of a wound, apply a suitable dressing before applying the bandage
Measure the circumference of the ankle and check that the correct kit has been chosen (18 to 25 cm or 25 to 32 cm).
It is preferable to apply the compression system in the morning on rising or after having elevated the patient's legs for one hour, in order to minimize orthostatic edema.
Depending on the patient's needs, apply the strips up to the knee or up to the thigh and use the appropriate strip widths.
